ASAP Coalition

ASAP functions within communities countywide to reduce substance abuse by:

1. using evidence-based prevention strategies to  address family, community and environmental factors contributing to the problem of substance abuse;

2. maintaining communication between agencies to ensure efforts are not duplicated;

3. disseminating information about substance abuse and substance abuse prevention;

4. working with stakeholder groups to examine the potential to create additional treatment resources within the County.
